BreAnna & Andy | Saba Rock BVI Wedding

**WARNING – This blog post is FULL of images.  I mean how could I narrow down a Saba Rock BVI wedding into just a handful of images? **

18 months.  That’s how long it’s been since BreAnna & Andy got engaged.  That is how long we’ve all had to wait to jump on a plane, take a ferry and head to the BVI (British Virgin Islands for those that don’t know) to watch these two get married.

When BreAnna and Andy started dating, never did we know that this is where we would be almost 5 years later.  Both were young, sort of not in the right place in life (aka being 21 and single) so we didn’t expect these two to “grow up” to be amazing parents, be absolutely in love with one another and ready to take the next step in their lives together.  Watching Andy with BreAnna is nothing short of amazing.  The way he looks at her, the way he loves her, can be seen by just watching these two for a few minutes.  BreAnna treats Andy’s kids like they’re her own and loves them unconditionally.  It’s great to see how much they have grown as a family and now ready to move to the next chapter of their life.

The morning started off without a hitch, sort of.  Once all the girls started getting ready at the house, we all watched a huge thunderstorm slowly move across Leverick Bay.  Normally that wouldn’t be a problem but when you have to take a ferry to Saba Rock for the wedding, and all the girls are getting ready before they get on the ferry?  That makes it a little difficult for hair and make up to stay on.  A quick change of plans was made and we hauled butt to the dock to catch the ferry 2 hours early.  Everyone at Saba Rock was waiting for us, had the room ready and we were off to do the finish touches on prep and get BreAnna ready.

The staff at Saba Rock in the BVI were amazing to work with.  Friends and family pitched in to help BreAnna get everything ready to bring over to the islands.

Not a bad view from the Anniversary House where BreAnna was starting to get ready.
If you’ve never been to the Caribbean, all the houses are named since the streets really don’t have names but they do have house numbers too lol

We had a torrential down pour about 3 hours before ceremony time which kicked the winds up more than normal.  A few sideways palm trees anyone?

And said he was okay when BreAnna walked down the aisle but seeing his little girl coming down the aisle with that sign, he couldn’t hold it together 🙂

In the BVI, it’s tradition to sign the marriage certificate at the end of your ceremony
