I first met Jennifer about a year and a half ago when she was fostering a dog with Passion 4 Pits.  For obvious dog reasons, we hit it off.  Fast forward to Chuck putting a ring on her finger and here we are!

Since Jennifer & Chuck are huge dog lovers, she wanted to make sure that Roscoe & Daisy were involved in their engagement session.  We threw some locations back and forth and then I mentioned the Dog Bar on Central in St. Pete.  I got a YES! response so I knew we were good to go.  Being a regular at the Dog Bar, I knew that they wouldn’t have a problem with us dipping in there for a bit.  We shot early that day to make sure there weren’t a lot of customer there since Roscoe sometimes has a problem with other dogs.  A few people were there and gladly went up on the upper deck while we shot on the play yard (thank you!!).

Once we got done at the bar, we hit the streets of downtown St. Pete.

Lake Parker Engagement Session | Sara & Austin

Sara & Austin…these two are seriously the cutest couple!  Being friends on Facebook makes it easier for me to see how couples interact, how the joke around and how much in love they are.  Their love for each other, dogs (yes!), their quads….the list goes on so you get the idea.  When Austin decided that […]

Sara & Austin…these two are seriously the cutest couple!  Being friends on Facebook makes it easier for me to see how couples interact, how the joke around and how much in love they are.  Their love for each other, dogs (yes!), their quads….the list goes on so you get the idea.  When Austin decided that it was time to ask the big question, he made sure that everything was in place.  KUDOS Austin for hiring a photographer <3  Even though I saw it all on Facebook, I still love reading how he put it all together:

I decided that our first BIG trip together would be the most memorable one 🙂 In the days leading up to our trip to Snowshoe Mountain, I made contact with a photographer. I told her of my plan and she was instantly on board! She was so excited and open to anything that I could dream up. We decided that her husband, her son and her would play as a family on vacation in a predetermined spot and they would be taking pictures. Sara and I would approach and ask if she wouldn’t mind taking a few of us and afterwards, she would insist that she take some with her camera for her portfolio. After overcoming some cell phone issues (no service except wifi) the plan began to take action. I located her and her family in the local Starbucks and upon entering, they exited to take their places and begin taking photos. Sara and I exited the shop as well and sat beside an outdoor fireplace observing the town square and all the while I was trying to keep the butterflies contained to one part of my body!! I mentioned taking a few pictures and told Sara that I would ask the mother taking pictures of her family to which she agreed (SCORE!!!!) Upon walking up I could already see the excitement in her eyes as she and I knew what was about to unfold… She agreed to take pictures of us using Sara’s phone and immediately after insisted that she use her camera to which we agreed. After three pictures, Sara gave me a kiss on the cheek for one picture and then began walking towards our (hired) photographer. I took Sara’s hands and pulled her close to me and began telling her how she has so very quickly become my life. While trying my best not to stutter or loose my words.. I managed to tell her that I wanted to give the rest of my life to her. With a surprised smile she replied with “thank you” and “I love you too”.. I could tell she seemed kind of lost which was the whole plan >:) Not until I took a small step back and reached into my jacket did her beautiful blue eyes widen and probably the biggest smile I’ve ever seen take over her face. It was easily the greatest moment of my life and I could have never imagined I’d be asking my best friend to marry me. As I got down on one knee, Sara began covering her mouth and asking me “is this for real?!” and “are you serious?!” I asked Sara the question and with the biggest smile she nodded and then managed to tell me “YES!” All the while.. our photographer was taking pictures. After a moment of enjoying each others company, I finally got to explain the whole situation to which the disbelief and gratefulness in her eyes alone, made everything I could have ever done, worth it. I still love watching her smile when she tells the story.

As soon as they booked their wedding, I knew we had to incorporate their quads into their engagement session some how.  I didn’t care how we did it, I hadn’t even said anything to them yet but I knew they would be all for it.  With them living in the Orlando area, we found Lake Parker Park in Lakeland so we were half way for both of us.

These two believe in love at first sight and there’s no doubt in my mind that it will last forever!  Can’t wait for their wedding in November at the Floridian Manor Estate.
