Christine & Tim {Engaged} :: Palm Harbor & Ybor City Wedding Photographer

May 23rd, 2012

I’ve known Amanda, Christine’s sister, for about 3 years.  I’ve shot Amanda 3 different times (and she survived them all HA!  wow…) so when she sent me a text telling me that her sister had just gotten engaged and that she wanted to gift them their wedding coverage, I was super stoked!  A few reasons […]

A few reasons for this…1) how cool is it that she was gifting them their wedding coverage and 2) how cool is it that she was gifting them their wedding coverage?  Something to keep in mind lol

I met up with Christine & Tim a few weeks before their engagement session to start going over everything.  When they said they wanted to incorporate their canoe into a part of their session, I was all over it.  I love it when a couple  wants to incorporate themselves and what they love, into their session.  The second part of their session, we headed down to Ybor on Saturday night and just wandered for about 2 hours.

I can’t wait for their wedding at Lange Farm next year!  These two are gonna rock it out!

During the session with their canoe, Tim kept saying that he wanted to do a ‘sailor’ shot.  Well, of course I let them haha

Christine’s ring on the front of their canoe….swoon!!

Then Saturday night we headed down to Ybor.  Textures, brick walls and well tatt’d up folks.

Now in Ybor, you honestly don’t know what or who you’re going to run into.  We were headed down towards 7th Ave and there was a guy posted up outside his apartment with his whole DJ set up.  Christine started busting out laughing and I love this image that came from that!

Fast forward down 7th Ave.  We were shooting on this killer brick wall and Tim looks over at one of the 100’s of tattoo shops and sees a group of people starting outside.  Plugs in the ears, all tat’d up and the conversation went a little like this:
Tim:  Wouldn’t it be hilarious if we did a shot with them? <pointing to the group>
Me:  Are you serious because I’ll totally go ask them!
Tim:  Umm hell yeah!

We walked over to the group and I asked them if they forever wanted to be in an engagement album.  Of course the first looks were of confusion but we ended up with this!  YES!!!

Waiting for the super moon, we headed to the top of the parking garage.

The definition of love :: Palm Harbor Portrait Photographer

Love: verb, to have a profoundly tender, passionate affection for/towards another person. That right there describes Josh and Julie to a tee.  I’ve known these 2 for about 2 years and when Julie asked me to do a session with them, I couldn’t help but say yes! That right there describes Josh and Julie to a tee.  I’ve known these 2 for about 2 years and when Julie asked me to do a session with them, I couldn’t help but say yes!

We walked Tarpon Springs stopping at every thing and every where we could.  A perfect session to say the least and to watch these two, well is sickening  😉 lol  The love in his eyes for her is passionate and I know he wasn’t just playing up the camera either.  These two are truly in love.

Enough with the mushy stuff…on with the pictures lol

And yes…that’s a snake lol  They brought “Billy” along for the ride to make his pictorial debut.  He was a little camera shy at first but quickly warmed up.

If you are interested in a session with me, you can either contact me from the Contact tab above or give me a jingle at 727-638-5441.  Just a reminder, session fees are going up 1-1-11 so if you’d like to get in on 2010 pricing, book now 🙂
