Lindsay and Eric are very simple people.  Not a lot of flash.  Not much into the ‘normal’ wedding traditions.  There was no bouquet toss, no garter but their wedding definitely didn’t lack in fun!  The one thing that Lindsay & Eric loved to do is laugh!  It was an amazing time all day.  Mother Nature had us scared there for a bit that the ceremony was moved from the big tree outside to Inverness Hall.  It was still a gorgeous wedding and everyone had an amazing time!!

Lindsay didn’t want Eric to see her and she was seriously adamant about that but what she did want, was a first touch.  After they did this, the first thing she said was that it was that perfect touch to know that he’s right there.

Once the ceremony was over, everyone totally danced the night away!  Lindsay didn’t want her girls being uncomfortable during the reception, so she bought them all Chuck Taylor’s in different colors!
Loved, this idea!

If you checked out their engagement session, Eric loves his Harley.  Diane, Lindsay’s mom, found this cake topper that was absolutely perfect for them!

On of Ed’s (Lindsay’s stepdad) is not only a good friend, but also a cigar roller.  Eric loves his cigars so Lindsay bought him the cutter for his groom’s gift.  Had to incorporate everything together.

Then of course we had to do the bridal party with their cigars!

Back at the end of February, I was contacted by Richard Fleming of Richard Fleming Photography in Jacksonville to see if I could second shoot with him in Crystal Beach.  I’m always up to second shoot.  There are a few reasons for this.

1)  It honors me that another photographer thinks that my work is good enough to represent them

2)  It’s nice to be able to sort of sit back and let someone else take the reins

3)  It was nice to be able to work with the guys since normally I’m with the bride

Little did I know this wedding was going to be a total deja vu’.  They ended up getting married and having their reception in the exact same place that I did back in 2005.    Although they didn’t do the whole beach theme like we did and did a great peacock themed reception.

It was great shooting with Richard and was glad to be a part of Eric and Katie’s night.  She was such a sport because it ended up being a pretty chilly night and she was such a trooper for formals after the ceremony.
